Had the privilege of fishing on F/V Christina today out of Raritan Bay. This vessel can be seen on Wicked Tuna season 1. It's the harpoon boat with huge pulpit. We fished Sandy Hook Reef and the blackfish bite was epic. Unfortunately of the 50+ tog I caught today only 1 was a keeper but that's the NJ limit until.mid-Nov.. we did get a few nice seabass on the crabs too. The tog were suicidal today and I actually caught 4 double headers using jig + slider hook above. Stopped for Stripers on way back home, all overs up to 45". Great day, t-shirt togging in Nov can't be beat!
