whatknot funny story,,, when i was young my mother was teaching me time,," how many min in 1/4 of an hour" ,, so she said joe how many min in a hour i said 60min that right joe,, then she said in half hour i said 30min ,, good,, then she said in1/4 of an hour i said 20 she said NO, well 21min she said NO,,, 18min NO!!!!!!!! ,, my mother takes the black book the hard cover one and hits me over the head as she was saying 15min,15min joe, as she was wacking me over my head over and over,,, whatknot to this day i remember its 15min :LOL:,,,,,,,,very true story,,,,,,,,,,,, ><))):>

They don't build houses like they used to.
I grew up in a little brick house in Queens with sturdy plaster walls. Wherever I was watching TV (19" B/W rabbit ears) I would have a catch with a tennis or rubber ball against the wall over the TV.
I spent hours doing the same against the outside wall in my backyard and developed a pretty good arm and catching coordination.
I can't remember my parents ever complaining.
Couldn't do it with the walls in my current house or against the siding on the outside walls.
I still see the hand painted square strike zones on some school brick walls, but I have not seen anyone use them for stick ball since 1980.
