><)))):> SIMPLE DAYS GONE BY GROWING UP,,WAS GREAT BACK THEN <:))))><

whatknot we did it all,, and more (y)??‍♂️?‍♂️??‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?️‍♂️????? ,,,,,,,,,,,, ><))):>
><))):>
I sadly watch my grandchildren transfixed and in another world obsessedly playing their Nintendo Switch, cell phones. I have learned to keep my mouth shut in front of my daughter-in laws. Sigh. :((n)?

check out this toys,, i had a bunch of them and i survived in 1 piece,, i can see and hear pretty good with no head injurys and im still alive today :) i was the one pointing the guns at my friends ?,,, man those were the days,,, they made fun toys back then :rolleyes:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ><))):>
><))):>

When we were kids, we made our own rubber band powered zip guns. fired playing cards at each other in mock cops n robbers, cowboys and indians, soldiers battles. No casualties. Found discarded lumber, junked baby carriage wheels some clothes line rope and hammered together poor mans' version of Soap Box derby racers( many of you will probably have to Google this). With no fear for our safety and no brakes, we would race down our local suicide hills at great peril of skin and bone and the occasional cars. Some skinned body parts and wore out our shoe leather soles using them as our only brakes. In winter we skitched same suicide hill. Hanging onto REAL bumpers on backs of cars and skidding on our boots on snow and ice. laughing our butts off the whole time. no one was chicken to do this. occasional bumps and bruises. no serious injuries, concussions, law suits or BS . Didn't need or couldn't afford many toys. we made do . We lived the life of the Little Rascals. Among my most precious memories. Those were the good old days.:)8-)(y)(y).

Worse, both of my daughter in laws are scared sh@tless to let me take the grandchildren even fishing for sunnies at a pond. They both tell me to wait until the babies grow up to be teenagers. ( The babies are 6 to 10 years old). What can I say to them? Heartbroken?.

I was first fishing on a Rockaway Jetty at Beach 5th Street with my older sister babysitting me from 100 feet away on her beach blanket. 5 Years old, I used a hand line, tarred hook, sinker and skimmer clams in the shell. no knife. I cracked shell to cut bait pieces. 2 very kind old geezers gave me the fishing stuff and clams. showed me the ropes. I caught everything that swam there. But I was the one that was really hooked. Those days are longggggggg gone brother. You teach little Carmine( handsome like grandpa) the Mojoe school of fishing.. Go get them tog bro with George. :)(y)

Two things ,Both of my daugthers and my sons strollers had rod holders on them even my wife got a kick out of that made a rod holder that would clamp on with a c clamp. To tell the truth most people who seen that got a kick out of it. And egg creams try to have one every day (if not two) hersheys is good but Foxes u bet syrup tastes like the real soda fountain stuff i grew up with.

Right...just till recently my wife’s friend was still brewing with this device.

Coffee hotter but taste is always the same.

I find with Pods , in k-cup brewers offer many different coffee options.
