Sleepless on the Midcoast

Family gone so now I can fish the AM tides. Of course today's tidal situation meant I had to be off the dock by 03:45 or wait until 05:30 to get out which seemed unacceptable. Finally starting to see double digit days again, although it's an every other day event. 3 fish yesterday, 11 today.

I'm up over 200 fish with 2 keepers. A 100:1 ratio far exceeds the last few year's 300:1 ratio...

Thanks for the props, but it's a pretty simple equation around here for the recreational fisherman, essentially C&R for stripers OR C&R for cod, unless you consider mackerel and very small harbor pollock a viable option to while away the time...

Hoping for a viable small tuna run this year. They've been thick off MA and seem to be moving up. Would love tuna loins off of 20 - 40 lb fish...

Hey, WAIT. You didn't say 20 to 40 #. The small fish you would get up here won't be that small. Up here that would be considered bait !!.
