So who cant sleep????

I recommend melatonin also. 10 mg, don't waste your time with 3 or 5 mg. Melatonin is a hormone that has an effect on sleeping. Your body releases more at night and less during daylight. As we age that production decreases. You can take it every night without a dependency or a diminished response as with other sleep medications. It may not work very well if you only take it once in a while, if you do I would take it about 2 hours before you go to sleep. It will not be very effective if you wake up at 2 AM and take it then.

? ugh 2 nights in a row

My sure-fire sleep aid when I bolt awake in the middle of the night is to go out into the TV room and put on a multi-episode documentary like Ken Burns' Civil War, American Experience's The Great War, or anything narrated by Liev Schreiber and put the recliner back. I rarely get past the opening credits of Episode 1 before conking out.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy all of those on my "Sleep Tiime" list, but since I've actually seen them a few times, they're very good snorefests now. Slept through 3 episodes of "Civilizations" today between 03:00 and 0:600...

my neighbor who has physical ailments, his Doc recommended 2 shots of Vodka before bedtime to help with his symptoms, Not that i had his ailments but I gave the Vodka a try a few times and each time I did recall sleeping better. try a Quality Clean Vodka and see what happens, Cigarettes are a No, No, too... cellie...
