South Shore Tog

Chinacat

Well-Known Angler
After all the wind and tough conditions there was only one thing to do when I saw todays forecast which was to email my boss last night and get the day off today!!
Got an early start and found perfect conditions
Got set up on my chosen spot
Had action right away on first drop soon after hitting bottom. I didn’t get any monsters but I did manage an ocean limit of fat fish between 17-18” which for me on my own boat in my area is a very rare event!
Tried for some seabass as well but only managed 1 trigger, a very small porgy and a big dogfish before switching gears and looking around for bass but gave up on that quickly.
Can’t wait until I get on the North Shore grounds with Captain Mike for a shot at some bigger fish!!!
