St Johns Basketball

The Address of St. John's University should be changed to European Union Turnpike !!! So far they have 6 Basketball players from Europe.
They just got a verbal commitment from Bobocar Sane , 23 years old from Senegal Africa. Guy looks NBA all the way, he played in the NBA Development league , Pitino says he'd be a top 10 in the transfer portal. This guy spells Dillion Mitchell with more offense.
They have another guy from Croatia I think who also played in the NBA development league. Hey this team will be pretty good with fringe NBA type players that Pitino is bringing in from Europe and Africa.
One thing is for certain, St. John's will have the oldest College Basketball team in the NCAA this basketball year.
Keep your fingers crossed they get Mo Mo Faye to play center.

Ironically going to St. John's will mean a huge pay increase for these foreign players.

Well, it’s that time of year again!
Im hoping the other Big East teams are competitive enough for the league to gain some respect and its not just a 2 horse race between St Johns and UCONN

All Big East teams are in Ken Poms top 100. The NCAA tournament will have 75 teams in the tournament bracket this year and at least 6 or 7 Big East teams will be in the tournament this year. I doubt St. John's and UConn have the same records they had last year because the Big East will be way better this year than last. . The Big East is loaded except for maybe Butler. This years St. John's team is awesome , they got 7 or 8 guys who are at least borderline NBA this year. Quinn Ellis is the real deal and he's getting $4million a year. He's going to be the best Point Guard in the nation, too bad he only qualifies for 1 season. The overtime game against Rutgers he played 54 minutes and only turned the ball over once!!! I'm just upset it cost so much to see St. John's games in person. Even a non conference game at Carneseca is at least $25.
Been a St. John's fan since 1984. My first year at St. John's was 1984/1985 when they went to the Final 4 and were ranked #1 in the country. So weird seeing Chris Mullin walking around the Campus. President Reagan gave a speech there in the Spring of 1985 and joked that Lou Carneseca couldn't be here because he was on a special mission ( The NCAA Tournament).
