Supreme court to hear NY Gun Case!

Finally they took a NY case and will hear it. Every Pistol Permit Holder in NY should be allowed to carry a gun in public if they want. They went thru a 6 month background check, did everything the liberals demanded . I live in Nassau County and I can carry concealed to and from the rifle range and to hunting spots, I've had pistols for almost 18 years and I acted responsibly . There won't be an increase in gun violence like the liberals say . Only cops and the politically connected get carry permits in NY and don't have to prove a need and the rest of us can't carry. I hate being at the mercy of the gov't , if I don't pay $200 every 5 years I can't keep my pistols anymore. That's an infringement that should be challenged. You should get a lifetime permit and no renewals. You agree to background checks , pay them $200 every 5 years, get 4 references to get a pistol permit and still they don't trust you. Look at NYC and you realize what kind of gun control they really want. You get the background check, pay $400 for the license, get 4 character references and then they said you can't take the pistols outside of NYC. They didn't let you take the pistols outside of NYC because you'd never get a Pistol Permit if you couldn't take it to a summer home upstate or to a range on Long Island. They got stooge cops advising them every step of the way on how to screw gun owners . I bet pistol permit holders in NY handle their guns more responsibly than cops do. They can't even count the number of times a pistol permit holder used a gun in a crime , the numbers are so incredibly low.

Absolutely agree and if not for their stupid laws. Bernie Goetz would have never served any time for defending himself and putting scum down as they belong. Still pisses me off that he got sued for defending himself by those scumbags also! Need to rid all govt of lawyers. Just plain zero common sense in a litigator.

While I put up with the draconian laws, pay my $200. every 5 years, etc., I am far more concerned that "those" in power will now pack the court to make things even worse for the law abiding and tax paying members of society.
