2020 TBO TRIFECTA – Connecticut's Largest Kayak Fishing Tournament

Next tournament on agenda coming up this weekend. The TBO Tribeca out of Niantic Ct.
Statewide and around the clock tournament but most of us made it a social thing and take over Rocky Neck State Park and launch within a few miles.
Gonna be a hot one.

Great time with great people. For the one day I spent on the water I concentrated only on striped bass. By lunch I had two raw bleeding thumbs. The boga finished the day. Till next year.

Culled through 40 fish to get that one Saturday morning just before we ran into you. The evening was the same, nothing over 28”.
Hope you did good.

You didn’t miss much fish wise Rich. Winning fluke was a five mile hike one way, peddling.
Bluefish I would have tied with a 20-1/2” but forgot my classifier for the pic in truck.
What you did miss was Rich, Ed, and I, ate lunch at this Pizza/Grinder restaurant. Little place only a few tables. I got some special, think it was called a Mexican Burger Platter. The whole plate was covered with batter dipped French fry and the burger was a pound after cooked on a homemade bun that fit it, pepper jack cheese, sliced jalapeños. Actually walked out full. Should have took a pic, $10.

Memories Rich, that's what its about.. Even the waitress will remember the smell. I got slimed pretty good that morning and the blood stained Hawaiian bathing suit and matching blood stained KFA shirt. I'm sure she was thinking "Why Me?"
