the movie you just rented/went to see/or just saw "Recommend or Not Recommend It" thread

It was a good movie, but the scene at the YMCA was needless. I think that's why Shirley's family was so upset at the movie.

New Star Wars movie teaser out, "The Rise of Skywalker". I know what I'll be seeing over the Christmas Holidays!!

Operation Finale

perdy darn good - terrific acting by Ben Kingsley as Adolf Eichmann

Based on the true story of how a group of Israeli secret agents arrested notorious SS officer Adolf Eichmann - the man who masterminded "the Final Solution" in Argentina & brought him to Israel for a historic 8-month trial in 1960. I vaguely remember this. I say vaguely as I was only 8 years old at the time. The trial played out on live TV & I recall seeing parts of it as my parents occasionally were watching.

Operation Finale Shows the Capture of Nazi Adolf Eichmann. But What Happened at His Trial Changed History, Too

A little slow at times - but - Kingsley's performance overcame that.

Just watched the other night a Netflix original. Adam Sandler movie called The Do-Over. Oh man co-staring David Spade. It was funny from start to end. Some funny adult scenes so no kiddies. This was very old school style Adam Sandler movie he did a great job on this.

Tolkien

A bit disjointed in that it kept flashing back & forth between his childhood & young adulthood leading up the writing of the Hobbit. But still managed to remain interesting. If you're a fan of the books - worth the viewing.

BrightBurn Was very Good.
&
Peanut Butter Falcon should be big , was not ever a fan of Shia Labeouf however I am now.
Outstanding Movie

IT! chapter 2

Bit of a let down. Enjoyed Chapter 1 better. Don't get me wrong. It had its moments. Maybe I was expecting more after seeing the first one. Felt like they were trying too hard.

Recommend if your a King fan & liked Chapter 1 just to see how they were going to finish it out.
