The never ending chat thread, chat about anything That your up too

Damn right! Think I bought it at K-Mart in Rocky Point for like $40 on a super sale. It's the biggest old blue one, like 80 something qts??? I just can't remember what size it is. It was the largest blue one before going over to the white monsters that were > 100 qts. It has a single latch, 3 hinges and heavy plastic white handles.

HAPPINESS is full igloos

Finished ordering new hinges and a latch for my 40+ year old Igloo fish cooler. Latch broke today, and I figured for an extra $7 I might as well spring for hinges which look fine, but one never knows.

Admiral suggested I splurge for a new one, but WTH, this one is great on the boat and was even used this past week to stuff full of meat from a Sam's Club run...
What, too cheap to spring for a Yeti. 8-) Did similar when my hinge broke.

Yeti makes a great cooler, but it's just way overkill for my use and therefore an unnecessary extra expense. If I routinely went out in the deep woods for a week at a time I might consider one, but right now, it's just not worth the money. I filled the Igloo with meat last week, and put in a couple of frozen bottles of water. When I got home I wasn't ready to start feeding the vacuum sealer so I left them in the car overnight. The next day everything was still cold and the bottles still had ice in them. Therefore I gladly spent the $20 to rebuild "Old Faithful" in lieu of a > $450 Yeti. That savings covers 82% of my YTD gas bill for the boat!! I'd say that a far better use of my hard earned $$.

And for you Pikers out there, you can convert any cooler into "Piker Sasquatch" . Just drill some holes along the bottom and top of the inside walls and grab that can of "Great Stuff" from the garage and shoot it into the lower holes to fill the space between the walls. When it pops out of the upper hole, go to the next set of holes. When it dries, sand it down and seal the surface with what ever you'd like. I'd grab my tube of 3M 5200 for finishing, which is what I used when I put garden hose fittings into the Igloo to make it a live well...

Yeti has also attained a "Status Symbol" which turns me off; to me nothing screams "I'm an idiot!!" louder than overspending on an item which is just not worth it. Like Van Staal, another company that makes an line of expensive reels that are worth it for those that surf fish in extreme conditions, Yeti has also "expanded" their product line to ludicrous items. To parallel Van Staal's $300 titanium pliers, Yeti has it's $40 5-gallon bucket!!! I guess Yeti Fanboys can't live with the shame of cleaning out that 5-gallon bucket that the driveway sealer came in and use that!!!!

LOOK AT ME, I'M AN IDIOT!!!

Packers vs. Falcons spread: Green Bay -6. Packers vs. Falcons over-under: 56 points.

I'm putting down 50 times on the Packers and 50 times on the under.

I have it all figured out.

A parlay is a single sports wager that involves two or more bets combined into one.
This can include point spreads, moneylines, totals, futures, or even prop bets, as
long as the bets are on different games.

In order to calculate the parlay payouts, you start by multiplying all of the decimal
odds together. Then, you take this number and multiply it by your wager which will
give you the total amount of money the sportsbook will give back to you.
