Going to fire up the chain saw to get some firewood from a large, dead spruce that went down while we were gone. It fell into our big firepit area, but only the very tip touched a chair with no damage. One lucky break for me and some handy, already dried firewood.

ROTFFLMFAO at a quote I read at Bloomberg. Like many of us, this time of year brings about serious self-examination as how to best reduce one's tax situation. Of course, this exercise immediately stimulates the thought of establishing residency in a state that doesn't have an income tax.

Florida is one of such states, but I agree 100% with this priceless quote:

“The main problem with moving to Florida is that you have to live in Florida,” one money manager told Bloomberg.

Yup, that sums up my feelings regarding the Sunshine State, and The Admiral is even more negative.

Fortunately at this moment, any state income tax savings I could realize by moving to FL, NH, NV, etc., would be negated by the carrying costs of a second residence. Even when the numbers would generate savings, I will have to ask myself, "Do I really want to live there for 6 months and 1 day?" The answer to that continues to be a resounding NFW!!!

first of all the 2 guys came and i could tell they didnt even want to work,, they didnt even want to bring the washer down the basment,, well just leave it in the kitchen ,, well the guys did bring in down,, they hooked eveything up,, then they said we cant take the old one, its still full of water to heavy,,4 guys will come ,,, WHAT!!!!!,,, bs theres no water in the tub,,when they left i took the back water hose 0ff,, so very little water came out,, its dry as a bone,,,i payed for the removel of the washer,, boy i call the company and had a fit,,, now i waiting for a call back so someone can come back and take it away in a day or 2,,its always something,,,,, they were pussys ?,,ps i did 2 washes and so far so good ,,,,,,,><))):>
