Same , worked on a plumbing problem all day yesterday....ruining my weekend.

All pipes and systems flowing other than the bathroom sink.
Removed and snaked the entire pipeline under the cabinet but it must be behind the wall or the pike going to main in basement, i thought my snake was going through to the basement but I guess not.

I may have to call a plumber if it does not work out today after trying again.
My Plumber I used for years retired, great guy...I guess I will pick someone local off the net.
Maybe I’ll call this one I saw ( Brian Kock, Sayville).

Oh Man, my retired Plumber Jim Koggers did not retire....this is great,,,, great guy.

He is coming today at 1pm.

I should have called him yesterday and could have resolved this so much easier and faster.
Should have listened to Ms. Mary.

?‍♂️

your bathroom sink is clogged and nothing else so it must be clogged close to the sink and not downstream or other sinks etc would back up

put your finger on the hole in the sink (overflow hole) fill with water and gently plunge it

Yes, Thanks Gene O ......

I tried that so many times, I even took the pipes off and snaked through them.
This sink has an independant line to the main.

My guy is coming with a bigger better snake and says It can get down to the connection.
Hope it works, this is ruining my weekend.

That is exactly what Mary said.
Good advice and I did decide to do that and move on and wait till next week to tackle but I called my plumber and after over 12 routes with his snake machine a blow out and another 4 snake through, it cleared....it was so close to giving up and becoming a huge open the wall project and start cutting.

it cleared and was cleaned up thoroughly , after that we partied

Got back from 2 weeks away from salt water, visiting family in the Midwest. Was great to see the little Munchkins and spoil them rotten. Now my son and DIL have to clean up the family damage The Admiral and I spread. Ah grandchildren, the best source of revenge you get for tolerating you children during their teen years...

The DTs set in about 3 days ago, especially when my neighbor texted me that the bass were in. Tried a few casts from the dock earlier in the miserable weather, but no joy. Tomorrow AM will be the "reel" deal. Brought down the bass rods, tied some rigs and the engine fired right up.

Had a good laugh as we hit the Maine I-95 border at 15:00. The Massholes were backed up for over 12 miles trying to head back south. I hope all the local businesses bled them dry so they won't be back next weekend... Traffic looked like the LIE heading west on a summer Sunday afternoon, something I do NOT miss!!

Funniest thing about tying rigs was trying to remember my knots, since it was Bass Rigging 2021's first shot. Had no problem with the Rapala Knot, which is pretty complex, surprised I had no problems. Of course I shouldn't have any problem with the easy Palomar, right? Palomar, HTF do I tie that one? OY, took a quick slap upside the head to jar the appropriate neurons to fire...
