I'll photo the two vehicles' "dirt footprints" in the driveway later, always good for a laugh. My truck was out since yesterday because we started moving lawn furniture around for the winter and didn't get it all put in place.

Bottom line, when one lives off a gravel road, AKA dirt road, formal washing of the car becomes a formality of futility. As soon as you drive it it becomes dusty on a dry day or muddy on a soggy day...
