So me n Jenn just sitting here and we hear this loud noise in the bath room we go in and look and of the shower doors shattered no glass on the floor it was just busted all up it there we could hear the glass breaking up it was so weird I taped it up the best I could to prevent the glass from falling all over the floor

Now u gonna have to look at each other while showering ??

I have tape on it now im gonna try to cover the whole thing If I move it at all Im sure the glass is gonna come crashing out

So far not too bad few small cuts most of the glass went into the tub gotta deal with the pieces that are stuck in the frame now

That made me think to go down to basement and check windows and door since the Windows were drifted over yesterday.

Then it is tempered, I think, but confused why there were sharp shards. Windshields aren’t supposed to do that.

Windshields have a coating on them they will shatter but will stay together a car window will shatter and throw shards all over

Hmmm, must be contagious... Looked up yesterday while clearing snow and noticed one of our upstairs casement windows was busted. Fortunately it was the outside panel, broke right by a muntin, but both the upper and lower glass panes are broken. I was scared the entire window had to be removed, but when I called Andersen, turns out they can send me a replacement sash. Of course, we're looking at around 4 months to get it...

We never heard it break and don't have a clue as it happened. Hypothesis is that a bird hit the window right on the muntin; it's not unusual here to hear that "thud" and see a dead or dazed avian on the ground. I let the guard fox take care of the downed aviators..
