2-days of rough waters on the way out and two days on the way in.

I like to cruise out of Miami, you don’t even know your on boat as far as motion.

However , I have sailed from the WEST side pier 90 and it was awesome to be there quick and home even quicker from ship.

This will be a great trip , tempting.

Its that they sail right into the Caribbean. Coming out of Miami

Sailing out of NY you must cruise ( more like sail) around the Horn and through the “ Shipping Lanes” once through that , its literally ” Smooth Sailing”. Regardless of weather being good or bad, the Sea is brutal in that area any given day, hour or condition.

Not a problem for me but for others who don’t Sail may be rattled.
If really bad , I remain in my Cabin and enjoy the rocking in Bed.

I had a suite that could not be compared to any other room on the ship other than one on the other corner of the Stern, the wrap around Balcony with three rooms and two bathrooms made for a wonderful sail party out of NYC and under the Varrenzzano. We had a cocktail party sail away Party for 15 people and could have fit twice that.

We did it again the following year on our own without the group we sailed with prior and I will never forget it , hoping to do it again one day again.

ok...maybe ive been lucky because this is my 7th NCL cruise outta NYC and never witnessed any turbulence...well once i got knocked off a bar stool but that was something else :)
