i would see it as a challenge/ interesting effort… ive been to parking ticket hearings and found it best if asked “ did you see the sign “ say yes..!!!!

reminds me how ruthless the city needs money… speed cameras, red signals cameras, bus lane cameras…

alternate side parking 2 X a week.!! ridiculous…

today,
congestion pricing is expected to start at $15.00 per entry into lower manhattan… cellfish…

As more people bail out, by moving and/or working remotely, the tax burden will only increase for those who elect to stay, along with increased fees like congestion pricing, etc.

I'm guessing when enough people bail we can expect a "trickle down effect" with the city looking for the state to ante up, and if and when that's inadequate, the Feds. I'm hoping that all hell will break loose when they come to DC with their hand out...

Look back at the articles I have posted. It is the folks that can afford to leave. Also, many of the 1% folks left and/or leaving.

So again roughly, for ONE million dollars of W-2 - NYS/NYC combined loses close to $90,000.

Interesting having this conversation with somebody. They got "stuck" on somebody making $1M dollars. Comment was "they can afford it". Missed the point - that revenue is now gone!!!!

I said let's continue - You make $150K, and will contribute around $10K. Where are they going to get the other $80K?? Because you already know they spent the money that they did not even receive. Silence.

R7 - I give you credit. You said it a couple of weeks ago. No matter what facts you present to people, you cannot change their beliefs.
 
i was at a seat belt hearing years ago, the police officer wit a few cases before me , kept saying. “ i can’t recall the incident “. haha , my case came up as i wasn’t thinking Attorney Style, i should’ve said, this officer is carrying a gun and she can’t remember her cases… haha guilty… $$$ cellie…
