Well one of the ballust on the railing was broken. So of coarse they are custom height so I couldn’t just replace one. So I bought 11 new ones. Then I get home and the main balust has a 3/4 nub on top to attach it to the handrail. It was broke in half. They no longer sell them that way so it took me two hours to chisel out each piece to remove the old dowl. So now I’m freaking tired and I’m not finishing it. I’ll start again tomorrow.

Oh I forgot to mention that yesterday while I was in the geerage working on the baluster I heard a BIG BANG ️ and the garage door shook violently like someone crashed into it. I hit the button to open it and it wouldn’t. I run out the front door door thinking the Mrs. Hit the door pulling in. Nobody in the driveway
I go back to the garage and notice the cables on either side are slack. I put them back on the pulley and hit the open button again, and Bam the arm that is screwed to the door rips out of the door .
So today I have a garage door company coming to fix it between 8-12

looking at mud flaps for the truck the chrome running boards get so nasty looking thinking mud flaps will help keep them cleaner

Test fitting, all good. Now have to disassemble and put back together with glue.
This was a PITA I surprised myself by getting it done on the first try

It was more involved to that since I had to cut them to the right size the diameter of the baluster did not fit in the hole in the railing, so I had to sand the tip of every baluster to the right diameter to fit
