A new hand wash/detail shop just opened in town....................

Don't have any of those down in these here parts. All they have are these automated drive your car in & it blows water & soap over the vehicle & that's about it. No brushes. No swirly things that clean the vehicle off. No crew to wipe it down - nada.

So I had to try 'em out..


They did a nice job for $75. Full detail inside & out + wax.

They came here to pick up the car & when they were done - dropped it off in the driveway. Gonna use 'em next for the truck. It can use a little "babyin'".

It was after I moved down here. I remember having to drive from my brother's house in Nissequogue where I was staying to get there. So first or second year I was down here would put it 2013/2014(?).

That's Margrock in those pictures & I recognize most but can't put a name to the faces.

My brother said he got a bumper crop this year.

I have a new neighbor who moved down here from Quogue about 8 months ago. Gave him a couple of my Banana Trees. He brought me down 2 dozen clams from somewhere near there & then about a month ago he moved in here premanently & brought me a Fig Tree from his property in Quogue.

Waiting until cooler weather to plant it.

Anyone have a car or truck with a "Dial" for a shifter? Like, not like etc..
This is from a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500. Casually browsing for a new truck and just can't seem to wrap my "hand" around this one. Looks like there is also gear shifter on the steering wheel. which looks kinda cool.
