Just finished a 4 hr project for getting some garlic/butter/garlic/green peppercorns/garlic/bread crumbs/garlic/parsley/garlic-topped oysters and clams put in the freezer for the meatless Italian tradition Christmas Eve dinner. Normally, given the tide that day, I would have collected fresh on the day, but I'll be running to PWM to pick up my daughter.

I usually put these in a big Tupperware container with layers of wax paper between the rows of shellfish, but didn't have enough room in the freezer to accommodate that, so I struck on the brilliant idea of vacuum sealing them. 1st try was a bomb, as I neglected to remember that oyster shells cut like a knife and they started to poke holes in the sealing plastic. Remediated that by putting the stronger side "Up" and doubling the bag. Hey, learn something every day.

All's well that ends well...

Did you go inside the Museum to see the "Shrine to the Sacred Source". Little know fact is that the water is no longer taken from the Spring, hasn't been done in years. They take if from a few different rivers, and Nestle owns the company...
I only did the photo op. Didn’t have time to check it out. But I did notice it costs a lot more for their water here than at home

So I get in my pickup this AM hit the start button & the dash lights up like a Christmas Tree, check engine light, ABS service required, service brakes required speed limited to 43MPH, the electric parking brake won’t release & the truck won’t move, GRRRRR!
After my truck has been at the dealer for a week, & after a few unreturned calls to the service writer, it was finally ready late this afternoon they decided after clearing 12 trouble codes, that it was due to unexplained low voltage. Load tested the battery & it was good, “could” have been a software glitch or lack of communication, they did 2 software updates & a global reset, whatever the F that is, & say that it could happen again. It’s now time for adult brown beverage…….John
