How many of you remember playing with Mr. Potato Head when we used real potatoes? We got to play with sharp push pin type pieces and put the finished Mr. Potato Head on your dresser until the potato rotted. The good old days.

Nope. Never had one with a real potato.

We got a plastic potato with holes for the parts, and they never made any sense. No matter how you organized things you'd always end up with Picasso.

back from my neighbors wake. She was 88 or so. Been in senior living for a few years and her son and daughter in law took over the house next to mine 7 years ago. Great people she was born in Croatia. When I first moved in here 23 years ago she greeted me with some Figs that she grew in the yard and an Agave plant. That Agave plant was amazing and the Figs were sweet, never had them really before that. Her son works at JFK for American as a mechanic. great dude and neighbor these past 7 years. So I went to the wake and payed my respects. Brought her an Easter Plant. RIP Ivanka.

Being a good Neighbor is being gracious, the same as being an Angel and the actual definition of The Holy Spirit.
You have honored an Angel and become one yourself.

What a wonderful share , thanks D

Been up since 04:15 getting agita, thinking about my Unexpected Project for today. Yesterday was a great one, temps in the 60s for the first time, and all the harbinger's of the new season were finally heard/seen, Ospreys, Pileated Woodpeckers, including a nest in the back, Loons, Peepers, Great Blue Herons, and to my disgust, Cormorants.

We were finally able to start spring projects like getting the path solar lights sorted and deployed, filling up the Admiral's Swim Spa and because of impending tariffs, running to the fireworks store to stock up for the 4th. Well, upon our return with the fireworks, we noticed a major leak in the spa, so today, so instead of relaxing from busting my butt yesterday, I'll have to disassemble the platform around the spa for the service guy...

And of course, it's blowing like the Hammers of Hell today right at the deck that needs to be taken apart. There goes my day of rest...

I got a new T-top canvas and I plan to install today. After the install, I have to replace the radar, gps and vhf antennas, radio box, navigation light and outrigger holders. It's going to be a very busy job with a lot of climbing up and down. First step, give the aluminum frame a good scrub.
