Temp is not the difference. If the product of St. James Gate, Dublin, stays on the Emerald Isle, it is not subjected to Pasteurization, anything that leaves the Island gets pasteurized.

If you're desperate, the Guinness Draft in cans is about the same as a "good" draft pint in European Pubs, but we're talking something just above No Wonder Most Americans Hate Guinness compared to the Nectar of the Gods that's on tap in Ireland/Northern Ireland...
