That is why most folks I know will not buy these, lease only. And really push to get most of the maintenance included in the lease price.
No ownership, maintenance covered, drive a new ride every three years. Did not say made money sense, although the no maintenance does "give back" what you are talking about. You're financing the depreciation....that's a lot of money as soon as it's driven off the lot.

I leased for 9 years and it made sense for me and I never paid for brakes, tires, or oil changes on any of the three leases. And just when the warranties were up, I handed them back. They were Volvo's and the repairs rates and parts were obscene!
And from what I have heard, Mercedes are the highest cost to maintain.
Plus I did NONE of that work myself.

I never paid anything up front. First and last, that's it. First time I walked and they called me the next day. After that, I stayed with same group and negotiated each one after that to where I felt comfortable.Definitely easier for budgeting after you pay the upfront cap cost reduction.
is this really something you want to do?Just got a call from the manager of our New England area. I have to be in East Haven Connecticut at 7:00 to pick up a car to bring to Wayne New Jersey. Guy paid for it and needs it tomorrow.
So tomorrow will either be a very early day or a very long day if I have to complete the other two transfers. $$$$$$$$$![]()
