It’s bucket. It’s not a sports car lol. Hey if it’s free it’s for me is what i say. ??Nope, but the head on my boat is a free Rocci 5 gallon bucket with a $10 bucket toilet seat. $40 5 gallon buckets? Seriously? Right up there with $350 titanium fishing pliers that the Low Spark of Van Staal Boys sport.
Definitive proof that a fool and his money are soon parted...
No offense Frank, scoring one in a raffle is a the best way to obtain one. You'll have to give us a product review...

My point EXACTLY, HTH does stenciling "YETI" on a 5 gallon bucket make it worthy for a $39.99 MSRP, which are pretty-much fixed and regulated by YETI???? It must be some special bucket.
Like I said in my original post, I didn't realize that Yeti made buckets, probably because I live in an area where status symbols are considered "stupid human tricks". The local Yeti dealer doesn't even carry the coffee mugs because no Maineah would ever buy one; they have enough trouble moving the coolers, so there's NFW they'd put the buckets out on the floor!!
This practical minded approach is quite refreshing at times. Was at a local, water-side watering hole once when a brand-new, big azz Sunchaser with MA registration pulled in, demanding room be made at the dock for his new boat. A lobsterman uttered to the bar in his best stage whisper and Maine accent, "Look at that GD Masshole's POS bath toy! There goes the neighborhood!!" This event was then followed by the arrival of a MAGNIFICENT, all wood 32ish foot sloop totally finished in varnish, what a beautiful boat. Everyone in the bar was drooling and the same lobsterman commented, "Now that's one wicked pretty, propah boat!"
don’t believe ya, how’s bout some pics next time... cellie...

No pics of the sloop. She was out of Sweden of all places, and truly a thing of beauty.
In lieu of that photo, I'll present a photo "Real Maineah" navigational aid. We have virtually ZERO markers around submerged ledges; I guess the Coast Guard runs out of buoys in MA. No exaggeration here, but there are easily 30 unmarked and very dangerous ledges in my within 3 nmi of my house. One of which was close to a lobster Co-Op. This particular ledge was behind a retired lobsterman's home and he spent many hours sitting in his La-Z-Boy watching ships passing by. When he passed, someone mounted his chair on the ledge to mark it, along with the stenciling. Pretty soon someone added an occupant to the chair. This arrangement lasted for 5 years, regrettably it's gone now...

Just like the Yeti, OBD...
I was just struck about how similar "Teddy" is to a channel marker near my abode when I did a 3-year stint in Ireland. The entrance to Sligo Harbor has the "Metal Man" pointing out the channel.
