Had a slow drain, that turned into a backup.

All good, I would never had done this but was board.
Purchased a snake and chemicals after finding cesspool cover, unhatched lid and seen it was pretty much empty. Opend up main pipe access caps and snaked the clog out of two areas of pipe, closed it up and poured chems down the main.

When I opened up the caps I thought it would have stunk but it really was not bad and everything flowing perfectly Now.

Its good to know how to do it since it can save you alot of money and not get ripped off for services that are not even needed.

Some Gel shit they gave me at Ace Hardware they recommended for my system.
Did not put that in until I sealed and cleaned everything thoroughley.

Same here General but thought why call some guy in to do something I just dont want to do since it can get nasty.... but I kept everything contained and cleaned. I did everything in proper order and it was really not that bad, I felt victorious after completion.

Pipes flowing fine now, I actually have been pushing them and flooding the main to see if it backs up but its Wide open, no probs.

Just got a first hand report of a contact of mine returning to work today, he mentioned 2 - people on his LIRR train and worst part of the entire process was the Homeless within and outside of Penn Station. He was really uncomfortable and concerned, camped out everywhere.
