Today we launched. Artificial reefs provide shelter for fish and other marine life off New York's shore, creating a more diverse marine ecosystem and boosting the regional economy.

Friends in Captree watched the operation and have gathered the numbers, yay. Will be better fishing in a few years. This is what needs to be done. Kudos to the powers that be . Thank you!!!

Seems the DEC always forgets about the Smithtown reef. We got a small addition last year but the bulk always seems to go to the South Shore.
