no I'm not - it just started pouring

just finished doing a deep cleaning of the living room:

• dust & wax the furniture
• slight refinishing of the cocktail table to remove some surface scratches that a certain British gentleman left on it with his shoes
• vacuumed rugs & floors (twice)
• dusted/cleaned the shades
• swiftered the floors
• washed the floors with a Wet Jet
• dusted window sills & the baseboard moldings
• cleared the spider webs from the walls & all of the nooks a crannies (it's weird how you never see them until you start some sort of cleaning regimen & then they're there - like "how did I not notice 'em before?")

Now a beer, shower & shave - then dinner.

My friends had a Brittany - the bark on the dog was so piercing it drove me nuts.
Excellent hiking dog though, stayed right with you.
