Laid down some insecticide in the yard. Had one tick on me two days ago and saw another one yesterday.

Put down grass seed on some patchy spots I had in the yard and spot sprayed some weeds.

Put down some fertilizer in the garden. Going to plant within the next two weeks.

As soon as this rain lets up, my triazicide goes down. I've been using it for years now on my lawn, paths and the edges of the woods and what a difference. When we first got here I got "ticked" the first time out and picked ticks off regularly. Now I can drag a rag across the lawn with absolutely no pickups, and single pickups on the rag only when I drag it long distances in the deep, untreated woods.

When I go into untreated areas, I put on my permethrin-treated clothes. NFW I want to get Lyme...

Just once, but I've really backed down the amount. I started off at the highest drop rate which meant 8 of the larger bags. Two years ago, I dropped that to 1/4 that amount and I'll test by "dragging the rag" every month. So far I've yet to find anything so I feel good about the lower amount

Yes Chronic Lyme is really bad. Such a nasty problem, hang in there!!
