watching a video Capt13 emailed me of one of the trees he dropped..

This one was right next to one of his sheds & I thought for sure it would take out the shed on the drop. Lower branches were already touching the shed & the upper branches were over growing the shed.

Couldn't have been more then 2 to 4 feet off of the back of the shed. He took down a total of six when he was down here last week. All at least this size. I gave him moral support for the first one - which was bigger then the one in the video. Second picture gives you an idea of the size of these trees from what's left of the stumps after the debris from the felling was removed. Three stumps are to the left side of the picture.

Don't know, But this more then a kid could do. These things were huge. He had to call in a professional tree service just to get rid of them after he took them down. Trunks were easily 3 feet in diameter. Ten foot section easily went around 600 pounds at least. Average tree height was probably around 70/80 feet with one of them topping 100 easily.

They came in with 2 huge pieces of equipment that scooped them up & then feed them into a monster wood chipper you could stick a VW Beetle into.. They still have to come back & grind the stumps.
