Mitch we were looking for you Saturday when we were at oaklands...thinking we would see ya fishing the inlet
Dang. I got scared off by the wind forecast
I ended up at Moriches Field Brewery right around the corner from Cany's house.
I texted him to come meet me but he was just getting home and settling in 8-)
 
it's actually the stacking that gives me most of issues - the repeated bending over kills my back - and about 20/30% of it needs to be splii
Makes sense
I used to run the splitter non stop for a few hours until there was a mountain on the ground then work on stacking. That meant bending over and filling the wheelbarrow to roll it to the stacking spot
Now i split it and out it right into the wheelbarrow and stack it as I go
LOTS less bending and better on the back

doing the same thing but no splitter - axe - so that doesn't help either
 
bend over - pick up wood from the driveway - toss over fence - bend over pick up wood from the ground on the other side of the fence - then either split it (bend over pick up the split peice) or stack it in the shed (more bending)
