I was gone before you posted this. We went to a restaurant on 43 St. Nothing fancy, I had mini burgers.

I enjoyed the show immensely. Although we had a lot of understudies including the lead, she has toured the country as Elphaba. She has a wonderful voice.
I have always been a big Wizard of OZ fan. I must have seen it twenty times over the years. Now I have a whole different look on the story.
The Gershwin Theater is a great place to see a play. The rows have enough space between them that you don't have your knees up against the seat in front of you. The parking garage is attached to the theater so you don't have to stand in the elements.

I'd see it again, but I don't think Josie would. She wanted to see more of the ensemble dancing and singing.
This is a musical where I was more into the story and I thought the scenes between Elphaba and Glinda were the best.

It was a play I wanted to see. Every time I brought it up she wasn't for it. (which is usually the case) She may have gone into it with prejudice.

Especially when she goes to help out the Bad Witch.

suffering ............ caught this cold/flu bug going around. It's been a few years since i've had a bug and this one is no fun . Today is day 3 and no improvement. Had plans to travel south for a few days. That's now on hold. Anybody else been down with it?
