Gonna suck by me, came up pretty good the morningTonight supposedly will be the highest. Again, different parts of the island will be affected in different ways.
Hopefully not too bad.Gonna suck by me, came up pretty good the morning
Good luck, hoping for the best!Yeah we are bracing for tonights high tide out east as well
I’ve made multiple trips to the end of the road to check the boat
Removed all loose items took down net etc
Wow, that's just a little too close for comfort! Praying all is well for your vessel and of course all the residents nearby.Got a call my boat was hung up, I raced down there had to park two blocks over. Boots were a joke by the time I reached the boat I was above my knees. Boat didn’t seem hung up was floating freely. I dropped the rear bumper thinking maybe the stern was sitting on the dock. The photo is from me standing at my boat looking into the streetView attachment 104696View attachment 104696
For once the south shore looks like it has been spared the worst of this storm. And this one did not even reach Tropical Storm levels here. Yikes!!Just came back and it seems the tide peaked out and is now going out
Definitely some flooding and ponding on the roads but nowhere near as bad as last december
So far wind is staying N-NE which is good fir our marina and pushes water out rather than in
Good luck with that discussionGood luck, hoping for the best!
I am tucked in pretty far up a creek, so wind not an issue, just water height and hoping others don't break free and clobber me. Although a better excuse to the wife why I need that 36 sportfisher, lol.
Hope that worked out for you. Assume you're down there now checking things out...Got a call my boat was hung up, I raced down there had to park two blocks over. Hope all went well. You do know like cost, the headaches of a larger boat are an exponential function. My wife keeps asking if I'd like a second, small CC for stripers fishing in the rivers, "Thank you for your kind offer but I'm good with a single powered boat in the fleet"...Good luck, hoping for the best!

Hopefully the worst has passed us by now the storm is moving fast and is way to the east of usCanal is down for now, boat seems and looks ok. The streets are taking their sweet ass time. After maneuvering through a few front yards I made it to the boat. Hopefully tonight’s tide isn’t as bad as last night. This was as of 12 o’clock noon View attachment 104715
