Went out to Las Vegas, Utah , Colorado using my Frontier Airlines $299 Go Wild All you can fly pass and that'll probably be the last time I go out there again. Upstate NY is lush green and heavily forested, Colorado and Utah look all dried out and ready to burn down. They have 2 kinds of trees out there, the Evergreen and the Aspen Tree . Looked really crummy out there, run down , dried out. You don't get the small town charm out there like with Upstate NY towns. The only positive - The streets are practically devoid of people, I drove thru Denver Mid Day to see Coors Field and there was hardly anybody walking around. NYC streets are mobbed with people , out there you have plenty of room .
The Eastern part of the US is the better half by far.
I visited Death Valley in California and the Temps. were as high as 107 degrees and 3 days later I was driving with my brother and mother thru the Rocky Mountain National Park and it was snowing the first week of June. There were snow piles on the side of the road up to 5 feet high. Saw Elk, Mule Deer, my brother saw a Moose when he visited there in May.
That Frontier Airlines Go Wild Pass is a great deal if you wanna see the US. Next trip will be going to Florida in July or August. I'll sit in the car most of the time . $299 Frontier Go Wild Pass is a great deal !!!
