Amazing, carrots are hard to grow that well, the dirt needs to b really soft and healthy.
Great job C
Anyone remember Crockett's Victory Garden on PBS. One episode he discussed carrots and parsnips so I tried his idea. You take a fairly long piece of rebar and stick in the ground. Revolve it in the ground until you have a deep cone shaped hole. Fill it with peat moss and nothing else. Plant your seeds, water and fertilize. Perfect root veggies every time because the peat moss offers no resistance. Works great.

What about plants, MoJoe mentioned elephant ear plants, I’m sure Chevy would know….do they grow up north?

Never seen them anywhere closer than the Carolinas.

My Fav plant is Hydrangia ( aka snowball bushes) ….love them.
