Hi Fellas, I'm going to try to make this years event. Busy time of the year for me (accounting), but I really miss the years I use to do seminars here and meet up with all us salts. This event hands down brings together our fishing community that is in a class by itself. Helping to raise money for kids to be able to fish and other notable charities, great seminars with a ton of knowledge graciously shared and a ton of awesome fishing booths!!!!!

The speakers usually have a break in-between. Does 12:30 work for a lot of you? Earlier? Later?
Having a time where we all make our way to the NY Angler booth may be a way to meet the most members.

John Skinner, the only one I really gotsta see, begins his seminar at 12:35 !

it is an excellent seminar. I saw it last year. It was so good, I purchased his book. Suggest another time.

I have his book as well. don't think I ever heard him speak though. I haven't gone to one of these fishing shows since a hotel hosted one along the LIE Service Rd (Hauppauge?) at least 5 years ago. Noon ? I was hoping to catch John Paduano at 10:15, get something to munch on, and then catch Skinner at 12:35 ( ? )
I saw Bill Wetzel years ago about surfcasting at the Wantagh library- he is good too !

No need to confirm what everyone now knows but I have to agree that this is one of the best shows on LI period.

I too will have a table in the Gym, a Seminar on North Fork Fishing at 1:45 p.m. in the Chorus Room, and I have donated a half day Charter on my vessel to the raffles.
