Well this looking good for Mr. Roccus at this time but I'm hoping it shifts a bit down to the south for us:p

Offering sacrifices to Poseidon, but I'm not going bring the snowshoes up from the basement until the "Fat Lady" sings that final aria.

Apparently the US and Euro models have yet to be in agreement, so the local news on all the stations is saying there's a "chance of significant snow Friday"...

Sitting outside it’s incredible out here not a cloud in the sky no wind I am actually out here without a jacket. In my backyard if the sun is out and it’s a west wind i could use short sleeves. I have a friend that lives in Calgary and the wind chill is 42 below now.

Rain in the forecast tomorrow. North and west of nyc a period of freezing rain is expected, a light glaze of ice. Thursday into Friday hearing a general 3-6 inches with higher amounts possible. Not a fan of the models. I do the night before or the day of the event. This is not set in stone.

With the ground frozen from the recent cold temperatures even if the temperatures are above freezing icing will take place at the onset of precipitation. Watch out for black ice

Well, this looks better already 8-)
I know this will change and go back and forth a bunch over the next 2 days but for now this makes me feel good. LOL
Come on Dark Blue!!

As feared this morning's forecast for Maine rejected the "InnacuWeather Map", as they're betting on more of an eastward track for the Low, a track that will reduce LI snow too.

Now I'm in the 2-4 range, so snowshoes will remain in the basement,
