Hi everyone.

Quick update for Thursday night into Friday. A quick moving miller b system will impact the entire area. Details still need to be sorted out but right now it looks like a 2"-4"/3"-6" type of snowfall. There is a chance for higher amounts but not much because the system is moving too fast.

Right now, I would feel safe calling for a widespread 2"-4"/3"-6" type of snowfall.

If I see any drastic changes, I will update.

What is a Miller type b storm?
Storms that come in from the west (up the Ohio Valley) are usually referred to as "Miller Type-B" storms. These storms originate as an area of low pressure creating storming weather over the Midwestern United States and the Ohio River Valley.
