Ended as snow here got a coating on top of the ice. 1.9 inches of snow fell in queens from yesterday and today

My good friend got a call from the hospital to come pick up his wife who is being discharged.

He asked me to come with him and help get her out and into the house, I said of course and will be right over.

Wife and I discussed and thought what the heck are these hospital reps thinking to have a 75 yr old guy come and get a 75 yrold women who can barley walk on ice in a winters night?

I called and told them to send her home in an ambulette and assist in her being brought home into the house.
it’s a nasty cold ice night, she is being brought home with professional assistance thank god.

Poor girl is coming home to hospice and these jerks wanted him to come out in this weather.
The medical industry needs better representation for the elderly.

Warned colleagues to be careful getting home etc. I step out of the truck at home and swiftly became acquainted with the cold, hard driveway. Ouch. Hate the abrupt "stop".

All my car windows are frozen shut, guess that's the problem with melting everything in the garage then parking right back outside. At least the door opened and latched when shut.

Yes I do a factory one only bad part it only runs for 10 mins but it helps theres a way I can get it to run for 20 mins but I havent tried it yet

My jeep does the seats below 40 degrees but not heat or defrost, unless it does and I don't know how to set it LOL
