This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast North Carolina,
east central Virginia, eastern Virginia, south central Virginia and
southeast Virginia.

DAY ONE...Through tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to cross the
region Wednesday afternoon through evening, bringing the potential
for damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado.

Today's pre-storm checklist:
  • Exercise generator - almost guaranteed that we will lose power.
  • Get snow blower our of the shed and fire it up √ Hoping that the proactive action here will lessen the amount snow here.
  • Put patio/porch furniture down or place in lee areas
  • Turn off dryer 220V circuit (Its main board is having problems lately when the power goes out and the generator kicks in. I'm trying to delay the board's eventual "demise", which would mean the dryer's demise)
