Weather

I have been listening to Bernie Rayno and Joe Bastardi with updates. He is doing 2 updates a day. This vortex will impact the entire Eastern seaboard might even make it to the Carribean

When I hear an update I will come on. I usually come on in the morning with the weather for the day if I hear something of interest I will update. Only certainty is the polar vortex impacting the entire eastern seaboard

Hi everyone. Long time...

There is no snow storm for our area this week and there hasn't been a chance for a few days. Models had it a week ago but the upper air pattern did not materialize and the storm is cutting to Chicago.

It will be a very warm Thursday and Friday with temps pushing into the 60s. Saturday morning, an arctic front will swing through and temps will be very cold Xmas Eve and through Wednesday.

December will likely finish with a trace or 0" for NYC, which history tells us means it's very very likely that the winter will finish well below normal snowfall. But there's always a chance of a rogue system like in 2006, 2016 and other years that can pump the seasonal total up with 1 storm.

After this brief cold spell, I see a VERY VERY warm period for the entire east coast and most of the US. Record warmth is possible for many days.

Winter is likely dead through at least Jan. 15th.

Dont fall for the flash freeze talk that some inexperienced people are touting either. Wont happen.

Rain shuts off 3-6 hours before the front and temps crash. Winds will switch to the NW, which brings in very dry air and any rain will dry out before the freeze ever gets to the coast.

The only story will be heavy wind gusts when the arctic front crosses early Xmas Eve.
