Around 20:00 last night I tapped the glass on the aneroid barometer and jiggled the mercury one, and discovered we tied my all time low of 29.00", where it finally bottomed out! The wind shifted and the pressure started to rise, being 29.4" right now.

Hell of a temp whipsaw in the past 15 hours, from 57°F yesterday afternoon to the current 14°F, LOL.

Lost power at 20:33, running on generator right now, accompanied by all sorts of beeping when voltage drops at the scattered UPS hooked to key computer equipment, but just a small price to pay. "Genny" is going on 14 years old and when she goes to the big scrap heap in the sky, I'm thinking we'll be going for "Genny 2.0", something around 25KW; we've added many 220 items over the years...

My heat pump didn't come on last night. Woke up to an inside house temperature of 47 degrees.
