I don't understand this forecast. It's going up to 50 today in queens. It's 38 now. Most of the snow is falling during the daytime hours with the sun angle getting higher. If the snow starts overnight then I could see accumulation. High of 40 tomorrow

38 going up to 50 low 34 tonight high 40 tomorrow that is not cold enough to support snow. Don't understand why they a forecasting 8 inches makes no sense at all

Looks like our 1st real snowstorm in years is coming. Models are all getting colder and snowier as we approach the event. That usually means to lean on the snowier models.

In my opinion, this is a widespread 4"-8"/5"-10" type snowfall.

Will start as rain at around 4am and then flip to snow by 7-8am. There will be heavy bands that will easily accumulate. Heaviest appears 10am to 6pm.

I shovel a 3' path to the 4 X 4 truck from the garage & that's all, as far as the rest of the 240' driveway is concerned, whoever put the snow their can take it away.

Hey Mitch - sometimes one has to love the tunnel plowing makes with the snow walls on each side, its a great visual. Other time, 4WD and just run it over back and forth to make a track!! Have to find some pics!

Schools closed here tomorrow too.
