It's official... According to a public information statement by the National Weather service, the tornado took place on Monday in Manorville from 4:33 p.m. to 4:38 p.m. with estimated maximum wind speeds of 85 mph and a 1.6 mile wind path; the wind path had a maximum path width of 50 yards

Way too close to my Fav golf course. No damage here. Played Pine Hills today and all was good, hit North of it.

Looks like South Carolina and North Carolina are going to direct hit from this now Cat 3 hurricane. ??‍♂️
Outer Banks going to get hit pretty good too.

Non factor but I believe the way the pattern is setup, it's screaming for another storm or 2 heading for the East Coast. Hopefully, not near us, but it's certainly possible this year.

I would also look in the Gulf for a home grown storm soon.

And your going to wait to when? That front 1/4 of Dorian is approaching your area soon. That’s the worst part of it. Ask Al. That storm is tracking a lot closer than predicted...

I've been watching the news all day - still under a Tropical Storm Watch. On probably the highest point on the whole Eastern Shore.

Would you evacuate from your present home under a Tropical Storm Watch under those conditions?

looks like the south shore is now under a tropical storm watch as well ....
