Wedding rings

Been wearing mine since the day I got Married Lost it twice in the back yard and luckily found it. Being a mechanic it always worries me that its gonna get caught something and cause me pain lol when I go fishing I never wore it the whole loosing it in the water thing................Jenn ordered me the silicone wedding bands so if I loose it no biggie and it wont hurt if I get it caught at work

Anyone else wear the silicone ones?

Thats why I went with the silicone ones

Never wore the wedding ring in the first place. I work with machinery all the time and need to be able to count to ten. But the silicone rings seem like a safer option as long as they're comfortable. Still not wearing one though.

Last think you need to be worried about
I had way too many accidents working with table saws, chop boxes, planers, skill saws, sawzalls etc but luckily all were able to be stitched Up and I still got all my digits?

Oh yeah, I've heard way too many stories (and videos on youboob) of lathes tearing off body parts. Not just from jewelery either. Hair, loose clothing, and unsafe polishing practices etc. Most people don't appreciate how dangerous those things are. I wouldn't even trust the silicone ring there. $#it happens fast and it doesn't take much to get sucked in.

Well I figure I been lucky as of now at least the silicone will tear/break the metal one wont working on cars the hands get into some tight places and a few times I almost got stuck lol

And silicone doesn't conduct electricity. Making your finger part of a short circuit will give you a permanent tattoo of a wedding ring, so to speak.

I hated my wedding band. When I first got it I took it off all the time. Went for lunch at a local diner then to the mall one day. I remember taking it off in the diner to wash my hands. That was the last thing I remember. Went to the mall and came home. No ring. Wife didn’t see. She went to her sisters. I called the diner about the ring and they said no one had it. I thought they were lying so I went there. I told them I’ll give them $100 if they found it. No dice. Something told me to go to the mall. I went there and went to the security desk. I told them what the ring looked like and what the inscription said inside of the ring. The person at the security desk chuckled and said I doubt we have it but I’ll call. She laughed and said someone found it in the apple store. Go pick it up at the office.

either wear it or don't...taking it off and on you lose it.....the big thing found in public restrooms now is phones...right on top of the toilet paper dispenser
