Panga, If you only drive 150 a day it will take you 8 days. right there.I'll probably take the Auto Train down and drive back up. I'll make it a week vacation and I'll visit everything about the Civil War along the way. I'll drive thru the congested areas on Saturday. Maybe 150 miles driving a day so I can visit places. EZ Pass will come in handy.

I drove from Orlando up to New York with a small moving trailer a few years ago, and honestly, the route on I-95 is pretty straightforward and mostly flat. Once you get past the Carolinas, it's a lot of highway miles, and the only parts with any hills are around Virginia, but nothing I’d call mountainous. You shouldn't have much trouble towing a boat unless you hit traffic around the bigger cities, which definitely happens around D.C. and parts of New Jersey. Splitting it up over a few days is a good idea if you want to enjoy the stops and not be completely wiped out by the drive.
