@Snapprhead27No excuse to go buy something newThanks for the feedback Matt.
The Palmarius slow pitch 5, Daiwa Saltiga, pretty sure the 15. Good up to 8 oz. You would still need something heavier.Tell me more. Paired with?
I hope we have a day like that! Thanks for the tips. I'll post up here how we do.x2 on Poison Tails and 6" Gulp grubs. Most of the time for me it was chicken rigs with up to 24 oz of lead. Jig when possible. Lots of nice sea bass as a bycatch. It's a long journey, but so worth it. I changed my drive from Throgs Neck Bridge and N on 95 to taking the Orient Point ferry. You don't really save any time, but it is much more enjoyable to me overall.View attachment 103467

It saved me a few bucks because on was on the hook for the seat!Feel better George. At least the guys were able to jump on an open boat and the trip was not a complete waste.
Feel better George. My knee has been a problem for month today. So I ended up twisting my knee a few days before, and I'm finally starting to recover. I'll be 70 in a few days - I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. The guys went only to discover that the Helen H folk's screwed up and had no captain to run the boat. They jumped on an open boat and limited with fish to 4-pounds.
