Trump Bruised by Another Brutal Haley Protest Vote in Pennsylvania Primary

Donald Trump may well have had the Republican nomination in the bag for weeks now, but legions of GOP voters are still apparently unable to stomach the idea of casting their ballots for him.

The former president was given another reminder of the scale of his problem on Tuesday with the Pennsylvania primary. Nikki Haley, who axed her own campaign over a month ago, managed to take 16.5 percent of the vote.

Trump, the only candidate still actually running, therefore easily won the primary with 83.5 percent, according to the Associated Press. But the problem for Trump is that Haley’s 16.5 percent amounts to more than 155,000 votes. In other words, 155,000 Republicans chose to support a defunct campaign instead of Trump in a key battleground state where, in 2016, he beat Hillary Clinton by fewer than 45,000 votes.

The result is part of a pattern that has played out across the primary season, with Trump winning by large margins but facing potentially concerning protest votes. Haley took over 10 percent of the vote in GOP primaries held earlier this month in Wisconsin, Rhode Island, New York, and Connecticut. It’s not yet clear how many of those voting for the former South Carolina governor will actually fall in behind Trump when it’s a straight choice between him and President Joe Biden come November.

Nobody cares Donald.............................

Wader's special hero...........................

However, during his comments, Biden made what many considered to be an embarrassing mistake.

"I don’t know why we’re surprised by Trump. How many times does he have to prove we can't be trusted?" Biden said.
Audience members could be heard laughing after his comment, but Biden continued, seemingly not noticing the mistake.

Several conservative social media users jumped on the quote, with many jokingly agreeing with Biden's comments that he can't be trusted.

"Not satire," Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon noted about the clip.

OutKick contributor Tomi Lahren said, "Well even a blind squirrel finds a nut."

Total Freudian slip.....

Indoctrination on the stage. They cannot control the sickness they created.

And I thought the guy pulling the fire alarm "by accident" was laughable.

A Democratic state senator in Minnesota who was charged with first-degree burglary claimed on Tuesday that the incident at her stepmother’s house was a misunderstanding stemming from dementia and its associated paranoia.

Sen. Nicole Mitchell, 49, was arrested at a home in the 700 block of Granger Road in Detroit Lakes early Monday after police responded around 4:45 a.m. to a homeowner's 911 call. Mitchell was found dressed in black clothing and a black hat, and acknowledged that she entered through a basement window, according to a criminal complaint.

Mitchell later denied the burglary allegation in a Facebook post, writing that she went to check on "a loved one" with Alzheimer's after learning of medical information which caused her "grave concern."

"I was just trying to get a couple of my dad's things because you wouldn't talk to me anymore," Mitchell allegedly said to her stepmother as she was arrested, according to the criminal complaint, which also quoted her as saying, "I know I did something bad."

Absolutely insane.

No bogus slant to that.

When I was "packaged out" 12 years ago I had to sign one of these. Thought it unfair as I immediately was getting offers from some of my former suppliers. I had no intention of signing with any of them but some of the offers were getting pretty nice.

One of them involved a move to Barcelona. All moving & living expenses (rent) covered until I could find something.

Kept thinking - "Well. I might need a bit more money. Too bad I can't take up any of the offers from them."

Shazbot!!!
