Columbia University threatens students occupying Hamilton Hall with 'expulsion'

Columbia University officials warned student protesters on Tuesday that those currently occupying Hamilton Hall "face expulsion."
In a message emphasizing that the top priority for the university is safety, university officials said that the anti-Israel protests will not be allowed to disrupt the work of the university in violation of school policies.
"We made it very clear yesterday that the work of the University cannot be endlessly interrupted by protesters who violate the rules. Continuing to do so will be met with clear consequences," university spokesman Ben Chang said in a statement.
"Protesters have chosen to escalate to an untenable situation — vandalizing property, breaking doors and windows, and blockading entrances — and we are following through with the consequences we outlined yesterday," he continued.
"Students occupying the building face expulsion."
Chang added that protesters were warned their actions violated university policies and said participants were given multiple opportunities to leave peacefully. Anyone who respected university policies would be allowed to finish the school year. Those that did not have now been suspended.
"Those students will be restricted from all academic and recreational spaces and may only access their individual residence. Seniors will be ineligible to graduate," Chang said. "This is about responding to the actions of the protesters, not their cause."
The disruptions to campus activities and "threatening environment" directed at Jewish students contributed to a "hostile environment" on campus in violation of Title VI, the university said.

Again, they will not heed my instructions.

"Protesters have chosen to escalate to an untenable situation — vandalizing property, breaking doors and windows, and blockading entrances — and we are following through with the consequences we outlined yesterday," he continued.
"Students occupying the building face expulsion."

Revise to:

"Students occupying the building ARE EXPELLED!"

Instead, they give them a sick platform.

Breaking: Hundreds of NYPD Strategic Response Officers (I don't know what that means) have gathered outside Columbia University

Funny, when it’s BLM, it’s mostly peaceful. They can burn down and take over govt buildings (AOK). When it’s dismantling our historic monuments, that’s considered okay too. Border invasion, nothing to see here.

Protest the Jews, everyone is getting involved.

This one is even better.

A Democrat-run city's police have reportedly made more than 1,000 arrests of Venezuelan nationals in the first three months of 2024 amid a massive outrage over additional money to feed and shelter migrants.

There were 609 arrests for driving/traffic offenses, nine violent felonies, 75 violent misdemeanors and 313 other offenses listed as non-violent, with nine others listed as unknown or not listed, according to analysis of Chicago crime and arrest data by The Chicago Tribune.

Getting tired saying the same thing - "You received what you voted for and will continue to vote for."

Move to the light and change your vote!

I love this one. Your future liberal leaders. :ROFLMAO:

A Columbia University graduate student went viral online after telling members of the media that protesters were at risk of dying or becoming severely ill if authorities did not deliver food and water to them.

"First of all, we're saying that they're obligated to provide food to students who pay for a meal plan here," the student told reporters when asked about Columbia's role providing food access for students occupying the campus building Hamilton Hall.

The student is reported to be Johannah King-Slutzky, an instructor and Ph.D. candidate at Columbia, according to National Review.

"I guess it's ultimately a question of what kind of community and obligation Columbia feels it has to its students," King-Slutzky said. "Do you want students to die of dehydration and starvation or get severely ill, even if they disagree with you?"

She continued: "If the answer is no then you should allow basic — I mean, it's crazy to say since we're on an Ivy League campus — but this is like, basic humanitarian aid we're asking for, like could people please have a glass of water?"

"Columbia students who took over a campus building are demanding food and water as part of their basic human rights," Outkick founder Clay Travis wrote. "Really."

Trailing Jaeger-LeCoultre, watches from Patek Philippe, Tag Heuer and Rolex also showed positive performance across the first quarter of 2024.

Certain models of Rolex are near impossible to find new. Waitlists are pretty long.
Sitting where it has been since my parents paid $300 for it and gave it to me in 1980...
