They want to shame Trump for his deportations, so they latch on to a mistake (like the government never does that) and try to manipulate the question of whether the process was correct into him bypassing the Constitution. Obviously the answer to "Do you have to uphold the Constitution?" is yes. But in their spin the question is "Does a bureaucratic mistake mean you're violating your oath of office?" To which a good answer is basically "I'm not an attorney, nor do I play one on TV. That's why we have lawyers to handle the law."

Naturally the trap is there's no winning answer with the media. If he answers the broad constitutional question with yes they'll cast it as he's knowingly violating his oath of office. If he gives the answer he gave, he has no clue about the constitution.

Lose/lose for him, but win/win for the media and your TDS.

Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William Pulte sent a letter to US Attorney General Pam Bondi on April 14 asking her to investigate and consider prosecuting James, alleging she “falsified bank documents and property records.”

He alleged James falsely listed a home in Virginia as her principal residence.

Records show that James was listed as a co-borrower on a house being purchased by her niece.

Her high-profile attorney, Abbe David Lowell, claimed in a fiery letter to Bondi April 24 that the Trump administration “cherry-picked” information against James and called Pulte’s request for the DOJ to prosecute his client for mortgage fraud “improper political retribution.”

But he admitted she had “mistakenly” listed a Virginia home as her primary residence.

I can’t even get on a fucking plane right now due to the lax bullshit libs have created until I get a new enhanced license. Was told by DOD I need it to get back on base if I visit. Well WTF! I have a FBI check every few years, a mandated physical every year but can’t take a domestic flight because of shit like what we have here. Literally got a new license endorsement in person last year with no enhancement. Fuck You NY and Fuck You Waders of the US. This is your fault. Now I have to drive 1300 miles to see grandkid and son before next months deployment in a god damn motel off the base while Ivan’s drive around killing people with a CDL they not supposed to have.
