GOP looking for a solution for a non problem

A Pew Research Center survey found that 83% of Americans favor requiring government-issued photo ID to vote, with 95% of Republicans and 71% of Democrats in agreement; only 16% oppose it.

Gallup polling indicated 84% support for photo ID requirements, including 98% of Republicans, 84% of independents, and 67% of Democrats. Separately, 83% back proof of citizenship for first-time voter registration.

CNN reporter Harry Enten was quoted as saying, “The bottom line is this: Voter ID is NOT controversial in this country. A photo ID to vote is NOT controversial in this country. It is not controversial by party and it is not controversial by race. The vast majority of Americans agree.”

NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Llamas noted, “Voter ID rules do have wide public support, but the vast majority of Democrats on Capitol Hill oppose them.”

Must be a problem.

Question. Why will democrats not listen to their own constituents??

You can’t make this chit up.
